Enable Hyper‑V on Windows 8

In Control Panel, tap or click Programs, and then tap or click Programs and Features.

Tap or click Turn Windows Features on or off.

Select Hyper‑V, tap or click OK, and then tap or click Close.

When turning on Hyper-V it is best to enable all of the features.

When you click OK, Windows Features will install Client Hyper-V and then prompt you to Restart your system.

Installing Client Hyper-V requires a Restart.

Once you initiate the restart, you’ll see a message on the screen similar to this one.

When Windows 8 completes the installation, you’ll find two tiles on the Start Screen for Hyper-V
